The Viral Video and the Indian Song Controversy

The most confusing part of the entire rally was the choice of background music in the leader’s celebration video. The song played was “Teri Mitti” sung by popular Indian artist B Praak.

This emotional track is one of India’s most loved patriotic songs. It includes lyrics like “Teri mitti mein mil jaawan, gul ban ke main khil jaawan,” which means “Let me merge with your soil, let me bloom like a flower.”

The song has strong connections to Indian nationalism and the sacrifices of Indian soldiers. The fact that it was played during a Pakistani political rally left people stunned. Many online users mocked the rally, saying that Pakistan doesn’t even have its own patriotic songs to play.
