Sanju has been given that chance, and he’s seized it,” said Bangar, noting that the wicketkeeper-batter’s consistency in recent matches has been key to his success.
The real highlight, however, is Samson’s explosive batting. Bangar drew a striking comparison between Samson and Yuvraj Singh, particularly their ability to hit sixes. According to Bangar, after Yuvraj, Samson is the only player who can consistently clear the ropes with ease. “He’s a natural six-hitter. With the Champions Trophy just around the corner in February, all eyes are on Samson. He’s expected to make his return in the limited-overs format when India faces England later this month.
